Mixer Operator – Former/Reitz

About the role

Join Nestlé’s food manufacturing team in Springville as a Mixer Operator responsible for operating the Former, Mondo, and Reitz mixers. You will ensure equipment is set up correctly, monitor production flow, and maintain product quality while supporting a safe, clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up equipment and ensure timely production start‑up, including availability of meat and meat mixtures.
• Review recipes and daily deviations, provide accurate raw weights to the oven operator, and monitor belt fullness to prevent overlapping patties.
• Control meat spillage and scrap, complete scrap and WIP tickets each shift, and maintain proper labeling of all meat products.
• Perform routine cleaning, remove condensation, and keep floors free of grease, trash, and meat particles.
• Calibrate scales, maintain weight control, and operate equipment only when a Code‑10 quality product is confirmed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; basic proficiency in English.
• Ability to perform repeat heavy lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• At least 90 days of food manufacturing experience in a Nestlé factory is preferred.

Required skills

• Basic computer data entry.
• Scale calibration and weight control.
