About the role
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring smooth recruiting, onboarding, record‑keeping, and employee support processes. This position provides essential administrative and coordination assistance to create an efficient HR function and a positive employee experience.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the internship program and liaise with colleges/universities.
- Assist recruiting by posting jobs, scheduling interviews, managing candidate communication, and preparing hiring documentation.
- Support onboarding activities, including new‑hire paperwork and orientation scheduling.
- Facilitate off‑boarding for voluntary terminations, collecting documentation and completing final steps.
- Maintain and update employee records, job descriptions, and HRIS data in systems such as Paylocity.
- Respond to routine employee and applicant inquiries about HR policies, benefits, and processes; escalate complex issues.
- Conduct audits of employee files to ensure compliance.
- Provide payroll‑related administrative support and answer basic payroll questions.
- Coordinate with benefits vendors and assist employees with enrollment information.
- Support employee engagement events, recognition programs, and open enrollment meetings.
- Attend career fairs and recruiting events as needed.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of administrative, HR support, or office coordination experience.
- Exposure to HR functions such as onboarding, recruiting support, and employee file maintenance.
- Experience handling confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
Required skills
- Familiarity with HRIS or applicant tracking systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, BambooHR).
