Household Manager & Family Assistant – West Virginia

About the role

We are looking for experienced, reliable, and proactive Household Managers and Family Assistants to support families across West Virginia. The role focuses on keeping homes running smoothly through organization, light home care, family logistics, and meal support, with occasional childcare duties as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Daily home reset: light tidying, kitchen clean‑up, and organizing common spaces.
• Manage household inventory, restock groceries and supplies, and coordinate with cleaners, vendors, and maintenance providers.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy meals, shop for groceries, and organize pantry and fridge.
• Pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children and assist with family scheduling, appointments, and travel preparation.
• Optional childcare support: school or activity pickups, occasional date‑night care, and engaging children in crafts or outdoor play.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable, and proactive with the ability to anticipate needs.
• Calm under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities, and able to build trust with adults and children.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass a background check.
• Maintain a smoke‑free environment and be vaccinated if requested by the family.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Calendar for scheduling.
• Experience using Amazon ordering platforms for household purchases.
• Comfort with shared family apps for coordination and communication.
