Household Manager & Family Assistant – South Dakota

About the role

We are recruiting experienced Household Managers and Family Assistants to support families across South Dakota. The role focuses on keeping homes organized, handling light home care, managing family logistics and providing meal support, with occasional childcare duties.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily home reset including light tidying, kitchen clean‑up and organizing common areas.
• Manage household inventory, restock groceries, pantry staples and supplies.
• Coordinate with cleaners, vendors, deliveries and home‑maintenance providers.
• Handle errands such as returns, post office, pharmacy pickups and online orders.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy meals, shop for groceries and organize the fridge/pantry.
• Assist with family scheduling, school forms, appointments and travel preparation.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable and proactive with the ability to anticipate needs.
• Calm under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities.
• Warm, respectful demeanor that builds trust with adults and children.
• Comfortable using technology such as Google Calendar and shared family apps.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.
