Household Manager & Family Assistant – San Francisco

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and proactive Household Manager & Family Assistant to keep San Francisco homes running smoothly. You will partner closely with families to anticipate needs, manage daily routines, and create a calm, welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Daily home reset: light tidying, kitchen clean‑up, and organizing common spaces.
• Manage household inventory, restock groceries, pantry staples, and supplies.
• Coordinate cleaners, vendors, deliveries, and home‑maintenance providers.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy meals; assist with weekly meal planning and grocery shopping.
• Pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children and support family scheduling, appointments, and travel preparation.
• Occasional childcare support: school or activity pickups, date‑night assistance, and engaging children in crafts or outdoor play.
• Handle errands such as post office, pharmacy pickups, and online orders.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable, and proactive with the ability to anticipate needs.
• Calm under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities.
• Warm, respectful, and able to build trust with adults and children.
• Tech‑comfortable using tools like Google Calendar and Amazon ordering platforms.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass a background check.
• Maintain a smoke‑free environment and be vaccinated as requested by the family.
