Household Manager & Family Assistant – Oregon

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Household Manager and Family Assistant to support families across Oregon. The role focuses on keeping homes running smoothly through organization, light home care, family logistics, and meal support. You will work closely with families to anticipate needs and create a calm, welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Daily home reset: light tidying, kitchen clean‑up, and organizing common spaces.
• Manage household inventory, restock groceries, pantry staples, and supplies.
• Coordinate with cleaners, vendors, deliveries, and home‑maintenance providers.
• Handle errands such as returns, post office, pharmacy pickups, and online orders.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy meals, assist with weekly meal planning and grocery shopping.
• Pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children and support family scheduling, appointments, and travel preparation.
• Optional childcare support: school or activity pickups, occasional date‑night assistance, and engaging children in crafts or play.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable, proactive and able to anticipate needs.
• Calm under pressure, comfortable with changing priorities.
• Warm, respectful, and able to build trust with adults and children.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass a background check.
• Maintain a smoke‑free environment and be vaccinated if requested by the family.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Calendar for scheduling.
• Experience placing and managing Amazon orders.
• Comfort using shared family apps for coordination.
