Household Manager & Family Assistant – Maryland

About the role

We are recruiting experienced, reliable, and proactive Household Managers & Family Assistants to support families across Maryland. The role focuses on keeping homes running smoothly through organization, light home care, family logistics, and meal support, with occasional childcare duties.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily home reset: light tidying, kitchen clean‑up, and organizing common areas.
• Manage household inventory, groceries, pantry staples and restock supplies.
• Coordinate cleaners, vendors, deliveries and home‑maintenance providers.
• Handle errands such as returns, post office, pharmacy pickups, and online orders.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy meals, assist with weekly meal planning and grocery shopping.
• Pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children when needed.
• Support family scheduling, school forms, appointments and travel preparation.
• Provide optional childcare support: school or activity pickups, date‑night assistance, and engaging children in crafts or play.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable and proactive, able to anticipate needs.
• Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Warm, respectful and able to build trust with adults and children.
• Reliable transportation, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass a background check.
• Maintain a smoke‑free environment and be vaccinated as requested.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Calendar for scheduling.
• Experience placing orders on Amazon or similar platforms.
• Comfort using shared family apps for coordination.
