Household Manager & Family Assistant – Hawaii

About the role

We are actively recruiting experienced, reliable, and proactive House Managers & Family Assistants to support families across Hawaii. The role focuses on keeping households running smoothly through organization, light home care, family logistics, and meal support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily home reset: light tidying, kitchen clean‑up, and organizing common spaces.
• Manage household inventory, including groceries, pantry staples, and supplies, and handle restocking.
• Organize closets, playrooms, mudrooms, paperwork, and seasonal rotations.
• Coordinate with cleaners, vendors, deliveries, and home‑maintenance providers.
• Handle returns, errands, post‑office tasks, pharmacy pickups, and online orders.
• Plan and prep simple, healthy family meals or assist with weekly meal planning.
• Shop for groceries and keep the fridge and pantry organized.
• Pack snacks or lunches for school‑aged children when needed.
• Assist with family scheduling, school forms, appointments, and travel preparation.
• Provide optional childcare support such as school or activity pickups and occasional date‑night or afternoon care.

Required profile

• Organized, dependable, and proactive with the ability to anticipate needs.
• Calm under pressure and comfortable adapting to changing priorities.
• Warm, respectful, and able to build trust with both adults and children.
• Tech‑comfortable using tools like Google Calendar, Amazon ordering, and shared family apps.
• Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to maintain a smoke‑free environment and be vaccinated if requested by the family.
