House Manager & Meal Prep

About the role

We are a busy family of four with two young children, seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented house manager to handle household organization, cleaning, meal preparation and occasional childcare on a flexible part‑time schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Organize closets, drawers, seasonal clothing and maintain lists for children’s clothing needs.
• Manage linen, walk‑in closet and basement organization, and keep refrigerators tidy.
• Coordinate donations, pickups and work with cleaning services to keep the home well‑maintained.
• Track pantry staples, grocery orders and manage shopping from Amazon, Costco, Target and dog‑food suppliers.
• Plan weekly menus and prepare 2‑3 simple, healthy dinner meals, including grocery shopping.
• Run errands such as dry cleaning, grocery runs, gift wrapping, returns and dog‑daycare drop‑offs.
• Perform occasional deep cleaning of fridge, freezer, oven and shampoo rugs; maintain humidifiers.
• Handle household laundry, bedding, towels and iron or steam clothes for the upcoming week.

Required profile

• Non‑smoker with reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
• Kind, thoughtful, highly organized, proactive, calm and self‑sufficient.
• Flexible availability, especially on Fridays to prepare for the weekend.
