House Manager & Family Assistant with Meal Prep – Boerne, TX

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time House Manager and Family Operations Assistant to support a busy, faith‑centered family of five in Boerne, Texas. The role combines household organization, child supervision, meal planning and preparation, and logistical support to keep the home running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive, age‑appropriate care for an infant, toddler and early‑elementary child, including morning routines, school drop‑offs/pick‑ups and nap supervision.
• Maintain daily household order: dishes, surface cleaning, clutter removal, vacuuming high‑traffic areas, and preparing the home for bi‑weekly cleaning service.
• Oversee organization of mudroom, pantry, laundry room and closets; ensure toys and clothing are stored correctly and manage seasonal clothing rotations.
• Plan, shop for and prepare nutritious meals 2–4 times per week, pack school lunches, and keep the kitchen stocked and tidy.
• Manage full family laundry cycle, rotate bedding and towels, and care for special garments.
• Track household inventory, restock pantry, toiletries and supplies, and handle errands such as grocery runs, dry‑cleaning and mail coordination.
• Assist with travel planning, packing and unpacking, and keep outdoor patio areas clean.
• Perform occasional deep‑cleaning tasks and special organization projects as needed.

Required profile

• Experience caring for infants, toddlers and early‑school‑age children; comfortable supervising children around a pool.
• Previous household role (house manager, family assistant or comparable) preferred.
• CPR and first‑aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Up‑to‑date vaccinations per AAP and CDC guidelines; annual flu shot preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and ability to travel with the family when required.
• Ability to work in a smoke‑free, Christian household and align with the family’s values and routines.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
