House Manager & Family Assistant – Meal Prep Focus

About the role

We are looking for a warm, proactive House Manager & Family Assistant to take ownership of our kitchen and daily household organization for a busy family of five in Davis, CA. The role focuses on meal planning, preparation, and overall home management on a part‑time schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shop for, and cook three healthy family dinners each week, plus grab‑and‑go snacks for after‑school and sports practices.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, manage pantry inventory, and handle grocery runs to Costco and local stores.
• Perform daily resets, light tidying, and prepare the home for regular cleaning visits.
• Run errands such as dry‑cleaning drop‑offs, mail handling, and occasional deliveries for a law firm in Sacramento.
• Provide regular care for two family dogs, including feeding, walking, and maintaining pet supplies.
• Assist with light laundry, linen rotation, and seasonal clothing swaps for the children.
• Support the family’s digital schedule tools and occasional school or practice drop‑offs.
