House Manager & Family Assistant – Childcare & Meal Prep

About the role

We are a warm, active family in Bordentown seeking a reliable House Manager & Family Assistant to support our two school‑aged children and high‑energy dog. The role blends after‑school childcare, household organization, meal planning and occasional errands, helping the household run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise children after school, assist with homework, and manage afternoon routines.
• Prepare healthy, from‑scratch meals and batch‑cook lunches and snacks for the week.
• Maintain organization throughout the home, including daily tidying, bedroom and toy management, and seasonal clothing swaps.
• Handle laundry, linen care, and basic household inventory, restocking pantry and supplies as needed.
• Provide pet care for a large dog, including feeding, walks and play.
• Occasionally run errands, transport children to activities, and manage the family vehicle’s cleanliness.

Required profile

• Self‑directed, intuitive and able to anticipate household needs without prompting.
• Warm, playful and comfortable working with energetic children and a large dog.
• Flexible schedule, able to adapt to changing weekly demands.
• Reliable transportation and authorized to work in the United States.
• Smoke‑free environment and willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not already held.
