Head of HR, Americas Distribution

About the role

The Head of HR, Americas Distribution is a senior strategic HR Business Partner who serves as the primary people and organizational advisor to the Head of Americas Distribution and the leadership team. This role shapes and drives the people strategy for one of Invesco’s most commercially critical businesses, influencing outcomes through leadership effectiveness, talent strategy, organizational design, and change leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the chief HR advisor to the Head of Americas Distribution, providing counsel on leadership effectiveness, organizational strategy, talent priorities and people‑related risk.
• Translate business strategy into an integrated people agenda that supports commercial growth, operating model evolution and leadership capability.
• Partner with senior leaders as a thought partner, influencing decisions with insight, judgment and data‑driven perspective.
• Develop deep business understanding—including sales compensation, client segments and strategic alignment—to shape talent, engagement and performance strategies.
• Diagnose trends in talent, engagement and capability, converting insights into high‑impact people initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR Centers of Excellence to deliver disciplined, business‑aligned solutions.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably as an HR Business Partner or Head of HR supporting executive leaders.
• Strong ability to influence senior leadership and drive strategic people initiatives.
• Deep business acumen in a commercial or investment‑management environment.
• Experience with organizational design, talent strategy, and change management.
• Excellent analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
