Head of Finance & Accounting

About the role

Golfballs.com is looking for a senior finance and accounting leader to shape the company’s financial strategy, drive data‑driven decision‑making, and build scalable financial systems as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all finance and accounting functions, acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team.
• Develop and execute financial strategies that support sustainable growth, profitability, and scalability.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, and financial modeling to provide decision‑ready insights.
• Drive EBITDA performance, profitability improvement, and financial discipline across the organization.
• Partner with leadership to improve visibility into business performance and forecasting accuracy.
• Lead board, lender, and banking reporting processes and communication cadence.
• Manage accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, inventory accounting, and month‑end close.
• Own multi‑state sales and use tax compliance and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance and accounting leadership roles.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Proven track record of building scalable financial systems and processes.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner closely with technology and business leaders.
