About the role
The Groundskeeper/Porter ensures the community’s physical environment is clean, well‑maintained, and visually appealing. You will support the service team by handling routine maintenance, trash removal, and safety checks across the property.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect common areas throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings.
- Clear trash from vacant apartments, transport it to dumpsters, and keep storage areas tidy.
- Complete minor service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turn‑overs.
- Change locks according to policy and verify pool gate functionality.
- Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
- Report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
- Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints.
- Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents accurately.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of related experience with basic maintenance tasks.
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
