General Production Associate – Springville, UT

About the role

Join Nestlé’s Springville, UT facility that produces Stouffer's Frozen Meals. This position is part of the General Production team, working 10‑hour rotating shifts on 1st or 2nd shift. The role involves hands‑on food manufacturing, ensuring product quality and line efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Check all issued ingredients for quality and quantity, follow recipes, and label ingredients.
• Prepare product for weighers and operators, weigh products when necessary, and maintain adequate supply of ingredients, film, and packaging.
• Ensure proper rotation of ingredients, pans, and equipment; follow mid‑shift and end‑of‑shift procedures for storage, paperwork, and housekeeping.
• Hand‑load, tape, and stack cases, sort sub‑standard product, and monitor for foreign matter.
• Keep prep‑weigher stations supplied to avoid line downtime and meet production speed targets.

Required profile

• Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) to follow directions and safety rules.
• Ability to lift, bend, pull, and handle heavy commodities repeatedly during a 10‑hour shift.
• Basic computer data entry skills and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred; 90 days of food manufacturing experience in a Nestlé factory preferred.
