Furniture Designer

About the role
CREME, a global design agency based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is expanding its furniture collections. The Furniture Designer will work on both existing and upcoming product lines, guiding concepts from initial sketches through to production.
Key responsibilities
- Develop concepts, prototypes, and detailed drawings for new furniture pieces.
- Collaborate with interior and hospitality design teams to ensure cohesive collections.
- Explore materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
- Prepare production-ready documentation and support the hand‑off to manufacturers.
- Maintain and evolve the agency’s design standards and documentation.
Required profile
- Degree in Industrial Design or related field.
- 3‑5 years of professional experience in furniture or product design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating furniture design work.
- Ability to work onsite in New York.
Required skills
- Industrial design principles.
- Understanding of hospitality and interior design contexts.
