About the role

Join Santander’s Plaza Allegheny branch in Philadelphia as a Full‑Time Teller. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering fast, accurate, and friendly banking services while supporting the branch’s operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers and minimizing wait times.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions accurately.
• Handle cash and maintain precise cash‑drawer balances.
• Follow all bank policies, compliance, and risk‑management procedures to prevent fraud.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and refer customers to appropriate products.
• Use digital tools to educate customers on self‑service options.
• Assist with custodial duties, audits, and other operational tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support nearby branches when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Willingness to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
