Full-Time Forklift Operator

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking full‑time Forklift Operators for its San Antonio, TX service center. Operators will safely move various freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long, working on a roofed but non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trailers safely and efficiently.
• Operate a forklift to transport pallets and containers within the dock area.
• Read and follow manifests to ensure correct shipment handling.
• Interact with computer displays to record movements and verify loads.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Required profile

• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
• Some experience with less‑than‑truckload (LTL) operations is a plus.

Required skills

• Computer display interaction for tracking shipments.
