Full-Time Customer Service Agent

About the role

Join American Airlines as a full‑time Customer Service Agent and be the friendly face that assists travelers throughout their airport experience. You will work on the front lines of passenger service, handling ticketing, check‑in, boarding, and baggage support while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Issue, reissue, and refund passenger tickets using the airline ticketing system.
• Book, confirm, and rebook flight reservations, including handling oversold flights and irregular operations.
• Perform passenger check‑in, seat assignments, and upgrades; operate gate readers and scanners.
• Operate jetways/bridges for boarding and deplaning, and make gate announcements.
• Process baggage acceptance, tagging, and credit‑card transactions at kiosks.
• Assist passengers with self‑service kiosks, special assistance needs, and unaccompanied minors.
• Issue vouchers and coordinate hotel, meal, and transportation accommodations when required.
• Maintain accurate flight boarding timelines and complete post‑flight service close‑out procedures.

Required profile

• Reliable attendance with the ability to work mandatory overtime and flexible schedules.
• Strong communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle high‑volume passenger interactions and resolve issues promptly.
