Distribution Planner

About the role

The Distribution Planner supports the creation, management, and execution of sales and inventory plans across product categories and items. This role works closely with finance, merchandising, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate data, analysis, and allocation throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide data and recommendations for department and class level financial planning and forecasting.
• Assist in developing allocation strategies and execute packing, pre‑pack, size‑balancing, and inventory‑balancing plans.
• Support in‑season plan management, including inventory releases, receipt accuracy, and price strategy execution.
• Execute allocation and replenishment of basics using demand‑forecasting and management tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1‑3 years of distribution planning or related analytical experience.
• Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen with ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to quickly learn technical applications and retail‑math concepts.
