Freelance Graphic Designer for Social Media

About the role

Makeup by Mario is seeking a Freelance Graphic Designer to create social‑first visual content for its digital channels. Reporting to the Art Director, Social, you will design daily posts, campaign assets, product launches and community‑driven graphics that reflect the brand’s high‑performance, artistry‑driven aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Art Director to translate briefs into engaging social media designs.
• Conceptualize, design and deliver graphics for daily posting, campaigns, launches and community initiatives.
• Maintain brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Support ad‑hoc design requests and ensure high‑quality execution.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social design trends and introduce fresh ideas.
• Communicate workload, timelines and potential constraints proactively.

Required profile

• BA degree in Graphic Design or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of graphic design experience, ideally in beauty, fashion or lifestyle.
• Strong eye for typography, color, layout and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for beauty, skincare, makeup or wellness industries.
