Forward Deployed Software Engineer

About the role

At Candid Health we are looking for a customer‑obsessed software engineer to join our Forward Deployed Engineering team. You will work directly with clients, leadership and product teams to design, build and integrate long‑term software solutions that drive real‑world impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect technical solutions that align with client needs, leveraging the latest AI/ML models.
• Fix bugs, implement features, and solve critical problems across the entire platform.
• Partner with customers and operations to build trust, serve as the technical expert, and clearly communicate solutions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate with sales, product management and engineering to ensure seamless implementation and provide feedback that shapes the product roadmap.
• Work with other product and engineering teams to create accretive, long‑term solutions that support a rapidly growing customer base.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit and growth mindset.
• Deep empathy for customers and a desire to solve their problems in a way that supports product strategy.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments, deliver high‑quality code quickly, and unblock yourself and teammates when needed.
