Forklift Mechanic

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a Forklift Mechanic to join its Wilmington, OH service center. The successful candidate will rebuild, repair and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks and hydraulic lifts while working in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, rebuild and perform preventive maintenance on industrial forklifts, pallet jacks and hydraulic lifts.
• Create and manage repair work orders using computer systems.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Clean driving record for the past five years.
• At least three years of experience repairing and maintaining industrial fork trucks.
• Ability to lift 100 lb (preferred up to 125 lb) and work independently in a high‑tempo setting.

Required skills

• Forklift repair and maintenance.
• Pallet jack (electric and manual) repair and maintenance.
• Aerial lift repair and maintenance (preferred).
• Computer proficiency for creating work orders.
