Floating Service Technician – San Antonio & New Braunfels

About the role

We are seeking a Floating Service Technician to support Greystar’s residential properties in the San Antonio and New Braunfels area. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical tasks and work safely in a residential property environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors and supervisors.
