Floating Area Service Supervisor – New England

About the role

The Floating Area Service Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior components of Greystar’s New England communities meet the company’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Reporting to the Community Manager, you will oversee daily maintenance operations, coordinate make-ready activities, and manage vendor performance across multiple properties.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Lead the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch-list creation, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for grounds, amenities, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of team members’ work and of contractors to ensure compliance with quality and scope specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative-maintenance tasks as outlined in Greystar’s policies.
• Support cost-control initiatives and expense-reduction programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in multi-unit residential settings.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, mechanical repairs, and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage vendors, schedule work, and oversee a service team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with residents, staff, and external contractors.
