Financial Capability Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Financial Capability Coordinator to lead its Financial Capabilities program in SeaTac, WA. This position supports socially and economically disadvantaged individuals by strengthening their financial knowledge, increasing assets, and building lasting resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outreach, recruit participants, and screen clients for eligibility.
• Provide one‑on‑one financial coaching covering budgeting, credit report review, goal setting, and financial planning.
• Design and facilitate group financial‑literacy workshops tailored to client needs.
• Coordinate referrals to external service providers to support broader financial and personal goals.
• Maintain accurate case files, client data, and reporting across multiple databases.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for funders in line with grant requirements.
• Support development and tracking of performance metrics to assess program effectiveness.
• Build and maintain relationships with local and national financial service providers.
• Perform other duties as assigned to advance program goals.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in finance or a related field.
