Finance Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead financial planning, forecasting and strategic analysis. The role requires strong analytical abilities, deep financial modelling expertise and the capacity to partner across functions to drive data‑backed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Analyse monthly financial results and key performance indicators, providing insights to business leadership.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for product‑level P&L, marketing ROI and customer acquisition efficiency.
• Partner with sales, marketing, supply chain and operations teams to support decision‑making and improve business performance.
• Track and optimise unit economics, contribution margin and working capital across product lines.
• Prepare dashboards, variance reports and investor‑ready presentations.
• Support audits, fundraising activities and board meetings.
• Recommend actionable insights for cost optimisation and revenue acceleration.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7‑9 years of relevant corporate or strategic finance experience.
• Prior experience in a high‑growth startup, D2C, FMCG or e‑commerce environment is a strong advantage.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and capable of working independently with multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
