Family Nanny & House Manager (Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Family Nanny and House Manager to support our active Bay Area family. The role combines primary childcare for two toddlers with household management tasks, primarily on Fridays and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary childcare, including learning‑focused activities for toddlers.
• Assist with pickup and drop‑off for activities, and prepare backpacks, snacks, and supplies.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating environment during care hours.
• Complete full laundry cycles, including washing, folding, ironing, and special garment care.
• Prepare two family dinners per week and weekday lunches for the children, plus kitchen clean‑up.
• Perform daily home resets, light tidying, indoor plant care, and change batteries or light bulbs as needed.
• Organize toy rotations and manage gear as children grow.
• Maintain outdoor spaces, tidy the backyard, and handle pet care such as walking the golden retriever and coordinating grooming.
• Unload grocery deliveries, recycle boxes, and manage household supply inventory.
• Assist with household calendar management using Skylight.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a nanny or hybrid household role.
• CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to obtain before start date.
• Reliable personal transportation and ability to commute to Portola Valley/Palo Alto if the family relocates.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Proactive self‑starter who anticipates family needs.
• Warm, engaged caregiver who enjoys supporting young children’s growth.
• Organized, clear communicator able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Flexible, calm, and able to handle shifting plans with professionalism.
• Bonus: bilingual ability.
