Facilities & Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Facilities & Maintenance Technician ensures the Museum of Ice Cream’s spaces operate smoothly and meet brand standards. Reporting to the on‑site Facilities and Maintenance Manager, you will support daily operations, troubleshoot equipment, and assist with larger projects during pre‑opening and post‑closing shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Follow daily routines and checklists to keep the facility running efficiently.
• Perform basic repairs, light plumbing, electrical work, painting, and patching.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues to prevent downtime.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and visual appeal throughout the museum.
• Anticipate and prepare for upcoming events, managing resources and schedules.
• Support larger maintenance projects and repairs as directed by the Facilities Manager.
