Fabricator – Industrial Gasket & Hose Production

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Fabricator to support our shop operations across gasket, hose, mechanical seal and conveyor belting departments. The role involves using a variety of tools to measure, cut and assemble industrial gaskets and hoses for our petrochemical and mining customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inventory counts, tag, stack and organize stock in the shop.
• Operate equipment such as soft‑gasket press, circle cutter, allpax cutter, shears and punch press with dies.
• Assist the hose area with banding, crimping, rolling, cutting and testing hoses.
• Disassemble, clean and bead‑blast mechanical seals, then pack and ship components.
• Support shipping duties, including packing, receiving and building crates.
• Operate a forklift after certification and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in an industrial shop (preferred).
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use a tape measure with fundamental math.

Required skills

• Soft gasket press, circle cutter, allpax cutter, shears.
• Punch press machine with dies for cutting soft gaskets.
• Hose banding, crimping, rolling, cutting and testing.
• Mechanical seal disassembly, cleaning and bead blasting.
• Forklift operation (certified).
• Use of tape measure and basic measurement skills.
