Expert Product Owner (AI)

Driven by integrity and a passion for pets, Nestlé Purina’s Digital Transformation team creates cutting‑edge AI solutions that power commercial functions. As an Expert Product Owner you will shape the strategy, roadmap and lifecycle of AI products that enable sales, marketing, pricing and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own and communicate the AI product vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog aligned to commercial strategy.
• Partner with commercial leaders to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI capabilities that improve decision‑making, customer engagement and revenue growth.
• Translate business problems into clear AI product goals, success metrics, user stories and measurable value hypotheses.
• Prioritize features, epics and technical enablers while balancing value, feasibility, risk and compliance.
• Lead Business Analysts, guide delivery teams, and manage trade‑offs and acceptance criteria.
• Embed Responsible AI, data governance, privacy and security standards across the product lifecycle.
• Define AI lifecycle artifacts and monitor model performance, observability and value realization.
• Communicate roadmap updates, delivery risks and adoption readiness to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product ownership, digital transformation or AI/ML solution delivery.
• 3+ years managing product roadmaps, backlogs and stakeholder communications in an Agile or hybrid environment.
• 2+ years partnering with AI engineers, data scientists or solution architects.
• 1+ years applying governance, compliance, privacy, security or Responsible AI practices.
