Engineer I – Technical Proposals

About the role

PV Hardware is looking for an Engineer I to join the Quotations department. You will prepare technical proposals based on calculations and designs from the technical team, acting as the bridge between commercial and technical functions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and develop the best PV hardware solution.
• Prepare accurate pricing and competitive proposals for utility‑scale solar projects.
• Review technical aspects of customer needs and clarify requirements with internal teams.
• Stay informed on market trends and competitor offerings.
• Coordinate with commercial, structural, foundations, design teams and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural/Civil, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience preparing estimates or technical proposals.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with strong time‑management abilities.
• Motivated to win business and support customers.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Auto‑CAD.
• Familiarity with SAP software.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
