Electronic Systems Technician III

About the role

The Electronic Systems Technician III implements, configures, and maintains advanced audiovisual and smart‑technology solutions for residential and commercial projects. This position leads technical aspects of projects, coordinates smaller initiatives, and acts as a liaison between project sites and Project Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead crews of two or more technicians, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and delegation.
• Perform precise cable management for audio, video, data, security and control equipment, including pulling, terminating, labeling and testing.
• Execute low‑voltage wiring tasks such as running, fishing and terminating cables.
• Install displays, mounts, speakers, cameras and other AV equipment using in‑wall, structure‑mounted and ceiling‑mounted methods while following safety protocols.
• Configure and program automation/control systems, security systems and network infrastructure.
• Assist in system commissioning, testing and client walk‑through training.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across AV, data networks, security platforms and integrated control equipment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, drawings and blueprints.
• Physical ability to stand or walk 70% of the time, lift up to 75 lb, and operate construction tools safely in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
