Electronic Systems Technician III – AV & Smart Tech

About the role

The Electronic Systems Technician III Service (EST III) designs, programs, installs and maintains advanced audiovisual and smart‑technology solutions for residential and commercial clients. The role ensures seamless integration of control systems, whole‑home AV networks, security platforms and structured‑cabling infrastructures while delivering top‑tier customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute precise cable management for audio, video, data, security and control equipment, including pulling, terminating, labeling and testing.
• Perform low‑voltage wiring tasks such as running, fishing and terminating cables.
• Install displays, mounts, speakers, cameras and related equipment using in‑wall, structure‑mounted or ceiling‑mounted methods, following safety standards.
• Configure and program automation/control systems, security systems and network infrastructure.
• Assist in system commissioning, conduct rigorous testing and provide client walkthrough training.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across AV systems, data networks, security platforms and integrated control equipment.
• Apply proactive problem‑solving and critical‑thinking to develop innovative solutions with available tools.
• Maintain strong customer service and collaborative relationships within the team.
