Electro Maintenance Technician – Night Shift

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Electro Maintenance Technician to join its manufacturing site in Johns Creek, GA. The role works the night shift and focuses on keeping production equipment running smoothly to minimize downtime and improve product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.
• Assist production personnel and team members with technical problems.
• Rebuild and restore used parts in the parts repair shop to “as‑built” condition.
• Support improvements to maintenance programs (preventive, corrective, predictive, spare‑parts management).
• Participate in equipment retrofits, upgrades, and the creation or revision of SOPs and shop repair instructions.
• Optimize equipment and processes for quality, yield, output, and cost reduction.
• Assist with validation protocol completion.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
• At least 1 year of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Willingness to work a rotating 12‑hour night shift (2 nights on, 2 nights off, alternating weekends).
• On‑site work in Johns Creek, GA; no travel required.
• Sponsorship and relocation are not available.
