Manifold Assembler I – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Manifold Assembler I to join our hydraulic valve production team at Bosch Rexroth in Vernon Hills. The role involves assembling and final processing of hydraulic manifolds, ensuring each unit meets our strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Work with team members under supervision to complete various assembly tasks.
• Prepare parts, de‑burr, power wash, install SAEs and expander plugs, assemble valves, test, install fittings and verify assemblies.
• Fill assembly orders from start to finish according to company quality standards.
• Assemble components using blueprints, instruction sheets and production documents.
• Log assembly information on daily or weekly sheets and prepare work‑in‑process for the next production step.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and pack finished products for shipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable using manual and power tools.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills in English.
• Ability to read blueprints and operate scanners, microscopes and gauges.
