About the role
The Electrical & Automation Engineer will support design, implementation and maintenance of electrical, automation, MES and digital systems in a Nestlé food‑and‑beverage manufacturing facility.
Key responsibilities
- Develop engineering skills and create technical training materials for E&A equipment.
- Support process improvements by identifying and implementing solutions that enhance quality, safety and efficiency.
- Assist in operation and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation and control systems, leveraging digital technologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environment and quality standards and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives such as energy and water savings.
- Assist in asset management, identifying end‑of‑life and replacement needs for capital planning.
- Support industrialization projects and capital investments involving the E&A area.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Professional Engineer license and PMP certification are a plus.
- Experience in food & beverage or CPG manufacturing, with knowledge of electrical distribution, local codes, instrumentation and automation systems (Rockwell, Wonderware/Aveva).
- Strong troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, communication, collaboration, proactive thinking and self‑management.

- Electrical distribution systems (low, medium and high voltage)
- Local electrical codes and standards
- Instrumentation and calibration processes
- Automation systems: HMI, PLC, industrial networks (Rockwell, Wonderware/Aveva)

- Salary range $85,000 – $120,000 per year
