Director, Real Estate – New England Owned Assets

About the role

The Director, Real Estate Operations leads Greystar’s Management Services business for a portfolio of owned assets in New England. Reporting to a senior real‑estate operations leader, the role translates strategy into results, drives portfolio performance and ensures operational, financial and resident‑experience standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for operational execution and financial performance of the assigned asset portfolio.
• Lead and hold Regional Property Managers accountable for site visits, inspections, risk mitigation and improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and manage key performance indicators such as delinquency, turnover and make‑ready timelines.
• Translate regional goals and organization initiatives into property‑level actions.
• Maintain compliance with Greystar standards and communicate client needs and decisions to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience overseeing Regional Property Managers or similar teams.
• Strong understanding of real‑estate asset performance, operational consistency and financial integrity.
• Ability to prioritize site visits based on risk and performance gaps.
• Excellent communication skills for transparent reporting to senior leaders.

Required skills

• Experience with property‑level operational execution.
• Knowledge of key real‑estate performance metrics (delinquency, turnover, make‑ready).
• Ability to conduct property inspections and risk assessments.
