Director of Product Marketing

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to lead global product marketing for Veeva Safety, its industry‑leading pharmacovigilance platform. You will partner with strategy and product management to craft positioning, messaging, value propositions, and go‑to‑market strategy that drive awareness, adoption, and growth across the life‑sciences industry.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a global product marketing organization, defining roles, succession plans, and employee success strategies.
• Develop and execute global marketing and go‑to‑market plans for Veeva Safety, aligning initiatives with business objectives.
• Partner with product management to create differentiated positioning, messaging, and value propositions for safety operations leaders.
• Lead global product launches and release marketing, turning product innovation into integrated campaigns.
• Create thought‑leadership, customer‑advocacy, and sales‑enablement programs that reinforce Veeva’s market leadership.
• Measure marketing performance, evaluate business impact, and continuously optimize programs.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive product or solution marketing experience in complex B2B enterprise software or cloud solutions.
• Proven success developing positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategies that drive adoption and growth.
• Strong ability to synthesize customer needs, market trends, and competitive intelligence into compelling narratives.
• Demonstrated cross‑functional leadership influencing product, sales, services, and corporate marketing teams.
• Experience leading global product marketing initiatives with both consistent global strategy and localized execution.
• Track record of building, mentoring, and developing high‑performing teams.
• Analytical mindset with experience measuring performance and optimizing strategy.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
