Director of Operations Training

About the role

The Director of Operations Training will design and lead hands‑on development programs for frontline leaders in manufacturing plants. This senior position focuses on building real‑world leadership capability, financial acumen, and operational execution across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for supervisors, plant leaders, and operations teams.
• Coach leaders in decision‑making, problem‑solving, continuous improvement, and Lean initiatives.
• Lead training initiatives linked to financial performance, including P&L ownership and cost‑impact awareness.
• Modernize training content, tools, and delivery methods, implementing scalable learning systems and LMS platforms.
• Partner with plant and operations leadership to drive performance improvement and leadership capability building.
• Establish and optimize training frameworks, metrics, and cadence to ensure consistent development across manufacturing sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations (e.g., Plant Manager, Director of Operations).
• Proven full P&L ownership and operational decision‑making experience.
• Experience in complex, high‑variability manufacturing environments and multi‑site or regional leadership roles (preferred).
