Director of Media Production

About the role

The Adventist Media Center – It Is Written is seeking a Director of Media Production to lead its Media Production department. This senior position oversees all aspects of program creation, technical execution, and distribution across broadcast, internet, and social platforms while upholding the values of the Seventh‑day Adventist Church.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all department staff, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Maintain project schedules, monitor budgets, and guarantee timely delivery of high‑quality media programs.
• Set annual goals, conduct performance reviews, and foster professional development.
• Oversee fixed‑asset and equipment management, and develop strategies to improve departmental efficiency.
• Handle copyright clearance and contract external labor, vendors, and ministry partners.
• Participate in shooting, editing, and technical direction of video, audio, and digital content.
• Manage the It Is Written TV linear channel (IIWTV), including content evaluation, acquisition, and quality control.
• Lead strategic planning for innovative media programming and continuous improvement of IIWTV.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in media production or broadcast environments.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities with internal teams and external partners.
