Director of Finance

About the role

Stellar Works, a global leader in furniture manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead all finance functions for its US and European entities. Based in the Tribeca showroom and office, you will partner with sales, operations and senior management to build robust financial processes and drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the financial close and reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop, monitor, and enforce financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Manage cash, payables and working‑capital to maximize return and limit risk.
• Prepare annual budgets, consolidate financial data, analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Produce special reports that summarize trends and support strategic initiatives.
• Lead ERP and finance‑software decisions, implementation and workflow integration.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements and systematic efficiencies.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in a controller or senior finance role.
• Manufacturing accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience managing foreign entities and a small finance team.
• Full‑time availability with flexibility to coordinate with Europe and Asia teams.
