About the role
You will lead business operations across board preparation, company planning, pricing and consumption economics, and GTM decision support. You will independently analyze product usage, customer economics, revenue, and spend, make actionable recommendations, and collaborate with Finance, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to implement operating changes.
Key responsibilities
- Drive end‑to‑end board preparation, including the operating narrative, inputs, deck, decisions, and owners.
- Own commercial pricing and consumption economics, covering cost‑to‑serve, margins, packaging, rate cards, deal rules, discounting, renewal migration, and sales enablement.
- Own revenue and GTM decision analytics, such as pipeline coverage, quota and capacity scenarios, account economics, and investment trade‑offs.
- Run annual and quarterly company planning, including operating plans, headcount and target trade‑offs, QBRs, and plan‑versus‑actual analysis.
- Track spend, burn, and run rate with Finance and bring resource‑allocation decisions to executives.
- Lead strategic analyses and cross‑functional projects, including deal economics, ABM investments, build‑versus‑buy decisions, and pricing experiments.
- Partner with GTM and Sales leadership on commercial decisions and enablement.
Required profile
- 7+ years of experience in strategic finance, business operations, management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy, including a startup operating role.
- Experience leading board preparation and working with Finance to present business metrics.
- Experience with pricing and packaging decisions based on usage, costs, customer value, and sales behavior.
- Financial‑modeling rigor and knowledge of P&L, customer unit economics, burn, run rate, and resource allocation.
- Proven ability to operate independently in high‑ambiguity environments.
- Credibility working with Sales, Finance, Product, and customers.
- Deep AI curiosity and AI‑native fluency.
- Willingness to work onsite five days a week in the SoHo NYC or San Francisco office.
