Direct Care Worker

About the role

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers to provide in‑home support for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and participants with intellectual disabilities. You will help maintain dignity, safety, and quality of life for each client while working flexible part‑time or full‑time schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Provide physical and emotional care to participants, including assistance with illness, injury, or disability.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and offer transportation when needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments and remind or assist with medication administration.
• Prepare meals, shop for groceries, and support general daily living needs.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and encouragement to promote mental well‑being.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to complete a criminal background check.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb and to bend, kneel, stand, or reach for extended periods.
