About the role
Torq is seeking a self‑motivated DevOps Engineer to join its fast‑growing, AI‑native security automation platform. This US‑based, fully remote position works closely with a global DevOps team headquartered in Israel, delivering reliable, automated infrastructure for Fortune 500 security teams.
Key responsibilities
- Identify friction points and implement scalable automation to boost reliability, delivery speed, and developer experience.
- Operate and optimize production environments using infrastructure‑as‑code and modern observability tools.
- Build intuitive internal tools and promote a self‑service culture for R&D teams.
- Lead end‑to‑end deployments across multiple regions and environments, from architecture to implementation.
- Collaborate daily with the Israel‑based DevOps team, maintaining strong communication across time zones.
Required profile
- 4+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Production Engineer.
- Hands‑on experience managing production workloads on GCP or AWS.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to evolving collaboration patterns.
- Collaborative, curious, and technically driven mindset suitable for a distributed high‑performing team.
Required skills
- Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture
- GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts
- Terraform, Terragrunt (or similar IaC tools)
- Bash, Python, Go scripting
- OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics observability stack
- Public cloud platforms: GCP, AWS
