DevOps Engineer

About the role

Clinically AI is scaling its healthcare AI platform and needs a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the cloud infrastructure that powers its products. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining GCP‑based environments, supporting browser extensions, mobile apps, AI pipelines, and data services. You will work closely with backend, AI, product, and engineering leadership in a fast‑paced startup.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production‑grade infrastructure on GCP, focusing on GKE, container orchestration, and secure multi‑environment deployments.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform and Helm charts to ensure reproducible, versioned deployments.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for staging, beta, and production releases.
• Establish observability across logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Google Cloud Monitoring.
• Drive security best practices, including secrets management, least‑privilege IAM, and compliance alignment.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident response, and post‑mortem reviews to improve platform reliability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering within cloud‑native environments.
• Strong ownership mindset, able to make decisions and improve systems autonomously.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a rapid‑growth startup.

Required skills

• Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Google Cloud Platform services (GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GCS, Pub/Sub, IAM, Cloud SQL, Secrets Manager).
• Kubernetes orchestration and Helm chart development.
• Docker containerization and microservices architecture.
• CI/CD pipeline creation with GitHub Actions.
• Observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Google Cloud Monitoring.

• Base salary $125,000–$160,000 plus equity.
