DevOps Engineer – Azure CI/CD (Sylmar, CA)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with at least three years of experience to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for a fast‑moving client in Sylmar, CA. The role blends automation, cloud services, and container orchestration to ensure reliable, secure deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Azure DevOps.
• Manage Azure cloud resources and Azure PaaS services, including AKS clusters.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Automate deployment and operational processes with Terraform and scripting.
• Integrate security checks into pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Support code repositories, branching strategies, and version control.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Self‑starter attitude with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Azure and Azure PaaS services.
• CI/CD tools: GitLab, Azure DevOps.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
• Scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS).
• Version control: Git.
• REST APIs, networking concepts (firewalls, load balancers).
