DataOps Engineer

About the role

Greystar is looking for a hands‑on DataOps Engineer to join its Data Marketplace (DMP) team. You will be responsible for the reliability, scalability and operational excellence of a Databricks‑native medallion architecture running on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Implement AI‑driven observability using LLMs and ML models to detect pipeline drift, classify anomalies and predict SLA risk.
• Build agentic monitoring workflows that surface data quality issues before they reach production.
• Own the full deployment lifecycle, promoting pipeline changes across dev, staging and production with GitHub Enterprise and Linear.
• Maintain strong CI/CD discipline, ensuring clean environment promotion and release coordination.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, Jobs and Workflows.

Required profile

• Deep mastery of Databricks and Azure data services.
• Experience applying AI/LLM techniques to observability and incident analysis.
• Proven track record of building and operating production‑grade data platforms.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices and release management.
