Data Entry Specialist – ERP & Inventory Management

About the role

The Data Entry Specialist – ERP & Inventory Management ensures that production and inventory information is captured accurately and in real time within the ERP system. Working on the shop floor, you will collaborate closely with production, warehouse, and finance teams to maintain data integrity and support smooth manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute ERP transactions, open and close process orders, and update inventory records throughout each shift.
• Perform inventory reconciliations, conduct bin counts, and use handheld scanners to track material movements.
• Review production data for errors, correct discrepancies, and support root‑cause analysis of recurring issues.
• Develop job aids, workflow documentation, and training materials to improve data accuracy.
• Communicate data discrepancies to supervisors and assist with investigations and ad‑hoc reporting requests.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with an ERP system (Aptean preferred but not required).
• Strong data‑entry background with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience handling inventory and order data in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and functions.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to analyze production data.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
• Fluent English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
